I forgot my master password. Can you reset it?
No, and that is the point of how PassVault is built. The key that decrypts your vault is derived from your master password and is never written down — not on your device, and not anywhere we could reach. There is no reset and no back door. An iCloud backup will not help either, because it was encrypted with the same password.
How do I move my vault to a new phone?
On your old phone, open Settings inside PassVault and choose Sync to iCloud. Install PassVault on the new phone, open Settings and choose Restore from iCloud. You will need your master password to open the restored vault.
PassVault has locked me out.
After several wrong master password attempts the vault seals itself for an hour. This is deliberate — it is what stops someone working through guesses. Wait it out and try again with the correct password.
Where exactly is my vault kept?
In a single encrypted file in PassVault’s own storage on your device, with the key material held in the iOS Keychain. Nothing readable leaves your phone. If you turn on backup, an encrypted copy also sits in your own iCloud Drive.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. PassVault is on the App Store today, and a Google Play release is on the way.
My reminders are not arriving.
First check that notifications are allowed: open iOS Settings, find NeverMiss, then Notifications. Then open the event itself and confirm a reminder is set on it. If you use a default reminder time, check that the time has not already passed for today.
My widget is showing the wrong event.
Widgets refresh on a schedule iOS controls, so a change can take a few minutes to appear. Opening NeverMiss forces a refresh straight away. If it is still wrong after that, remove the widget and add it again.
How do I bring in birthdays I already have?
Open Settings inside the app and choose to import from Contacts or from your calendar. Grant access when iOS asks. NeverMiss reads them on the device and uploads nothing. If an import creates duplicates, Settings has a one-tap cleanup.
Can I take my events somewhere else?
Yes. Settings has an export that writes a standard .ics file, which you can open in any calendar app or keep as a backup.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. NeverMiss is on the App Store today, and a Google Play release is on the way.
When will it be out?
It is still being built, and we have not set a date. This page and the AudioTale page will say so first. If you would like a nudge, email us and we will keep a note.
Which files will it accept?
PDF and EPUB, the ones you already own. Import runs in the background and resumes if you close the app partway through.
Which devices will it run on?
iPhone and iPad, plus Android phones and tablets.
Asking us to delete your data
PassVault and NeverMiss keep everything on your device, so deleting the app deletes the data with it — there is nothing on our side to ask for. Each policy sets out the exact steps, and if anything is unclear, ask us.
